There is great power when people are joined together in partnership. I like the term Covenant Relationship. It is often seen in scripture, displayed by God and by man and in the numerous accounts given us, we can see how it is an ideal thing to be linked with someone else in a covenant relationship.
When Moses, for example, took time off and made the effort to see the burning bush, God called him to be Israel's deliverer, but God also told his brother Aaron to stand with him. Aaron was Moses' mouthpiece, or representative. God spoke to Moses with instructions on what to do and Aaron implemented them. That was a partnership. The phrase Moses and Aaron appears 269 times in the first five books of the bible, 113 of which are in Exodus alone.
It must be important! When Moses was struggling alone carrying the weight of his ministry, his father in law Jethro came to him and advised him to get help. Moses took his advice and the burden was shared. That is a form of partnership.
When Joshua was in the valley below in battle, Moses stood on the hillside, holding his rod aloft. Whilst he was doing that, The Israelites were winning, but it is very tiring to stand like that for a long time and Moses grew weary. He could not continue standing and holding his arm outstretched, even by itself, let alone with a stick in it. Every time he lowered his arm, the people were defeated.
Aaron and Hur got a rock and Moses sat on it. They stood beside Moses and held his arms up so that the rod of God could be held aloft. when this happened, they won. You can see the account in Exodus 17. That is a powerful partnership.
In the evening the disciples came to him. They said, “No one lives around here, and it's already late. Send the crowds to the villages to buy food for themselves.” Jesus said to them, “They don't need to go away. You give them something to eat.” They told him, “All we have here are five loaves of bread and two fish.” Jesus said, “Bring them to me.” Then he ordered the people to sit down on the grass. After he took the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and blessed the food. He broke the loaves apart, gave them to the disciples, and they gave them to the people. All of them ate as much as they wanted. When they picked up the leftover pieces, they filled twelve baskets. About five thousand men had eaten. (This number does not include the women and children who had eaten.) Matthew 14:15-21.
This is Matthew's account of how Jesus fed thousands of people with a small boy's lunch. There are several pertinent facts here.
  • The need was there and Jesus immediately met it
  • He was the one who performed the miracle, but it would not have happened if the boy had not given his lunch to Him
  • Jesus commanded His disciples to distribute the food. He provided the wherewithall, by performing the miracle substance, but the discipled had to distribute it.
  • In the process, Jesus commended that the people be seated in orderly manner. This prepared them to receive the miracle.
In John chapter eleven when Jesus came to the tomb of Lazarus, He prayed a prayer of thanksgiving, not that He needed to, but for the sake of those around and for His disciples' sake (and ours), commanded Lazarus to come out of the tomb and when he did... commanded others to remove the grave clothes.
He wasn't going to do it. Others had to do that.
He never distributed the food either. His part was to meet the need. The disciples had to put it into effect.
Those things were all done in a partnership arrangement that created the atmosphere for a miracle.
Those two accounts are powerful testimonies to what God can and does do, but we also must take an active part in it.
Partnership with ministries like this is a way that God can release your desired miracle.
We have ours! If you want one...I suggest you partner with someone (preferably us) because there is power in partnership that really does work.
Should you not wish to partner with us, but still want to get involved, we will be more than happy to recommend others to you. The important thing to remember is that you sow your precious seed into good soil... that you are a seed sower and not a seed thrower.
My desire is to see you blessed and experience the great release of power that comes in partnership with proven ministries.
