God has a way of linking people together. This is a natural order of things revealed in nature. Genesis tells us that God created man to be just like Himself.., almost like a carbon copy or mirror image of Himself.

Then God said, "Let us make humans in our image, in our likeness. Let them rule the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the domestic animals all over the earth, and all the animals that crawl on the earth."  So God created humans in his image. In the image of God he created them. He created them male and female. Genesis 1:26-27.

The order of things by divine command was that we should replicate.

God blessed them and said, "Be fertile, increase in number, fill the earth, and be its master. Rule the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that crawl on the earth." Genesis 1:28.

He wants a family. I do not want to get onto a different topic right now, but it takes male plus female to fulfil God's requirements. He never told Adam and Steve, but Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply. The alternate lifestyle can never do that , so it is out of divine order! I'll say no more on that.

God made Adam and made a helpmeet or someone to stand alongside him to be a complete union of one man and one woman as a single entity that we now call marriage. By His own words, God said it is not good for man to be alone, so it is clear from the outset that God had a partnership in mind and He has never changed His mind. Eve came from his side so they two could walk together. She came from his side so he could protect her; not from his feet so he could walk on her; not from his mind so he could dominate her; not from his back so she had to tag along after him in subordination. God took something close to Adam's heart so he could love and cherish her, not use her, or abuse her. That is real partnership.

 Partnership
Later the Master selected seventy and sent them ahead of him in pairs to every town and place where he intended to go. Luke 10:1.
This is one of many accounts that show us Jesus operated this way.
His whole ministry life on earth was in a partnership manner.
He never started His ministry until after John baptised Him in the River Jordan and the Holy Spirit came upon Him.
It was not just Jesus, but Jesus and the Holy Ghost working together in divine unity and unison.
Jesus told us that He never did anything until He had first received directions from His Father. He said that He only said what He heard the Father say. He only did what He saw the Father do. He spoke about how much He and the Father were at one with each other and divine approval was declared audibly as a result several times in the Gospel accounts...
that's partnership.

The Power of Partnership>>>
Partner With Us>>>

In the New Testament Church after Jesus had returned to Heaven, it seems that the disciples functioned in a partnership arrangement. In the book of Acts,Peter and John are often seen together. In Acts chapter 3, both Peter and John were instrumental in the healing of the lame man at the door to the church. In Acts 8, Philip had preached up a storm. Many miracles happened and many souls were saved. The church in Jerusalem then sent 2 men for another purpose... to work together as a team in partnership so that the new coverts could receive the Holy Spirit.
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. Acts 8:14-17.
That's partnership in action.
Later in Acts we see Paul and Barnabus working as a team, then Paul and Silas.
That too is partnership.
The Bible gives many illustrations about how good it is for us to work together.
Our whole experience depends on this relationship. In essence we are in partnership with God just for our salvation experience and I will share more along these lines in the Power of Partnership page.

One powerful passage of scripture is found in Proverbs chapter our, which says-

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
