We live in an Exciting, but rapidly changing world.
Our ministry is interested in people. We are concerned about people — no matter who or where they are. We stand for truth and righteousness and for freedom for all people to live life to the full in a healthy, fulfilled and peaceful way… full stop. We approach things from a Christian viewpoint, knowing that others in the world do not share similar ideals. Our objective is to present things from a biblical perspective however, not from a traditional or denominational viewpoint, so that the reader is informed and able to make his or her own decision.
God told Ezekiel- "Son of man, I've made you a watchman for the family of Israel. Whenever you hear me say something, warn them for me. If I say to the wicked, 'You are going to die,' and you don't sound the alarm warning them that it's a matter of life or death, they will die and it will be your fault. I'll hold you responsible. But if you warn the wicked and they keep right on sinning anyway, they'll most certainly die for their sin, but you won't die. You'll have saved your life. "And if the righteous turn back from living righteously and take up with evil when I step in and put them in a hard place, they'll die. If you haven't warned them, they'll die because of their sins, and none of the right things they've done will count for anything—and I'll hold you responsible. But if you warn these righteous people not to sin and they listen to you, they'll live because they took the warning—and again, you'll have saved your life." Ezekiel 3:17-21.
I want to make two statements at the outset.
- God spoke to the prophet primarily in relationship Israel, but this is a principle that can apply to any person in the world.
- There are certain people who deem themselves to be “watchdog ministries”, feeling that their task is to “judge, correct or warn” others, but they are usually false. There are biblical principles of correction and counsel, but not usually like those folk do. We are not like that! We are not so doctrinally set as others are as to become offensive, but we will not compromise in certain areas when it comes down to the word of God.
We are living in exciting times. They are not necessarily
nice for everyone, but things that are happening right around us today simply fall in line with what God has said would happen and we need to know.
We are masters of our own destinies of course, but there are certain matters that happen in various places that affect us. Some of them, but not all, reach the headlines. Unfortunately, much of what is revealed in the media may not always be true and accurate accounts, for varied reasons. After all, human beings print the things, including me, so I ask you to pray about what you see and hear. See if it lines up with the word of God. See where it fits in with the economy of things and also check out what I tell you. See if what I say really does measure up.
This is important because the bible tells us that lies and deception will be rife in the closing days of this present era. See Proverbs 4:14-17; Isaiah 59:14; 2 Timothy 3:1-5 and the like.
Our News presents certain events in which we present a biblical perspective on them. We make no effort to present everything possible. That is not our mission, but when we see something that we are capable of making comment… we do. We will share recent events and will be updated from time to time so you can weigh up the truth for yourself. Our articles are presented for you to pray about, check out for yourself and then make a personal decision on it. Once someone has heard the truth, there is no excuse before God.
As we present aspects of the news, we have then done our job.
