We receive many invitations to minister in places like these where good people are starving for the things of God, but conducting such meetings is not easy. It takes much planning for us just to reach the places where we believe God has asked us to go. Extensive travel across several time zones for anything up to 30 hours travel time has not been uncommon.
For us to reach a country like Kenya for example, we would travel from Australia to Singapore, to Amsterdam, to Brussels and then to Nairobi. An alternate route is via AbuDhabi.
Although we want to accept all invitations to minister, we simply cannot.
Political unrest and violence is something we must consider for several reasons. We know that God can and does protect, but we also exercise wisdom to ensure our personal safety and we also must meet the legal requirements of our own government if no other.
We must also consider the timing factor. This is most is most important. In Acts 16:6, the disciples wanted to go to Asia to preach the Gospel, but the Holy Spirit forbad them! This has happened to us too, when, after receiving invitations to minister, the Lord said a definite No!
A severe financial crisis exists around the world. We know that God provides, but we also know that funds are necessary. Our own approach is to trust in teh Lord and rely on HIs provisin. If He provides the finances, we can operate as we desire, but if no money comes in... we simply cannot do a thing. It is as simple as that.
We cannot do this alone. Help us with your prayers and financial support. If you cannot come in person, send us and help us take Jesus to those who need Him.
